Java Developer

We are looking for a role to work as an Engineer in the Partner Product Configuration team developing and maintaining Java-based applications.

Responsibilities:

– Develop and maintain Java-based applications and services that enable client’s payment solutions to function at scale.
– Collaborate with product teams to understand requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
-Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code that adheres to industry standards.
– Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers.
– Ensure the quality and performance of the software through testing and optimization.
– Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
– Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.
– Work with other technologies such as React and Kafka to create a seamless experience for our customers.

Team Vision:

The PPC team’s mission is to support the client with smoooth self service tools and APIs to configure transacting partners with the correct products, fees and relevant configurations needed in the payment flow. It should be quick and simple to keep all product configurations up to date and it should be done with minimal manual interaction.

Team Mission:

Providing self service tools, APIs and services to enable internal users to define how on-boarded and existing transacting partners should be configured with regards to products, markets and fees. This is done by providing two main services; Meerkats enabling configuration and MPCS serving the configurations to the payment flow. The team works relentlessly to automate, simplify and improve the current configuration process, while at the same time supporting stakeholders with the crucial but time consuming manual processes not yet replaced by more robust automated processes.

Must haves:

– Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Spring Boot.
– Experience with AWS and cloud-based architectures.
– Experience with React and Kafka.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
– Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
