Laboratory Tech Lead

We are seeking an experienced Tech lead to the Laboratory. He/she will lead our tech initiatives at our future focused business lab, The Laboratory. As the Tech Lead at the Laboratory, you will oversee the successful implementation and delivery of projects and tests, with an end-result of focusing on shaping the future of our business. You will be overall responsible for managing the development, implementation and maintenance of tech solutions (infrastructure, systems and applications) within the tests and projects we run. You will be part of designing solutions, managing external partnerships and challenge our team with your perspectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong tech and data background, have a business mindset and understand new business models. He or she holds excellent leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-tech stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
Inspire the team, fostering innovation, business mindset and collaboration.
Develop and execute a tech roadmap aligned with The Laboratory’s strategic goals and vision for the future.
Oversee and drive the design, development and deployment of tech and data solutions.
Collaborate closely with Business developers and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scopes tha drives future business growth.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship, nurturing talent and encouraging professional growth within the Laboratory.
Monitor and evaluate emerging technology trends and advancements, driving innovation within our lab’s projects.
Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and industry experts to stay at the forefront of future-focused technology.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements, while also pushing boundaries and exploring new possibilities.
Identify and proactively mitigate risks associated with technology projects, ensuring successful outcomes.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Proven experience in successfully delivering future-focused projects.
Strong technical background in software development, infrastructure management or a relevant field.
Proficient knowledge of cutting-edge technologies, including AI, machine learning, cloud computing or data analytics.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and collaborate with diverse teams.
Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on shaping the future of business.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and frameworks.
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies that will drive the future of our business.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic lab environment
Ability to move seamlessly between hands-on technical development and strategic questions
