Test Automation/Verification Engineer

For our client we are looking for a Test Automation/Verification Engineer.

What you’ll do
As a Test Automation/Verification Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that the software products meet the highest standards of quality. You will utilize your testing expertise to actively work with team members on all aspects of quality from a testing perspective. This includes ensuring testability during the design and development stages, writing and helping the team to write test cases, and automating tests for regression testing.

In addition, you will verify and validate the product and analyze issues to identify the root cause and provide possible solutions. You will also help to define and document a long-term test strategy as well as maintain a test plan for each software release to ensure that all aspects of the product have been thoroughly tested before release, together with your leader.

Top Skills
Our client is looking for someone with a Master’s degree in Software Engineering or equivalent experience. Additionally you must have previous experience in quality assurance of complex embedded systems and familiarity with tools such as CANoe, Jenkins, and/or the Robot Framework. It is also required that you have fluency in English, both written and spoken, as well as a valid driver’s license (B).

Having experience in automotive and infotainment systems such as instrument cluster,
HMI, connectivity, telematics, audio, Bluetooth, navigation, speech, and displays will be viewed as a meritorious qualification for this position. Furthermore, knowledge of systems like Elektra, CarCom, or System

Merital
Weaver will also be considered a plus. Finally, experience in test automation, programming, or model-based development/testing is also meritorious.
