Project Manager
Job Description
Our Finance department is changing our current ERP system from Unit4 to Oracle Fusion and are looking for an experienced Consultant to support us in the implementation journey as a project manager.
As a project manager for this assignment we expect you to be proactive and driven, take ownership and be the link for us in Finance to the technical teams and implementation partner.
Activities to be performed
Plan implementation, conduct status meetings, follow-up on tasks, sync with technical team and implementation partner – as well as with stakeholders on different levels in the organization
Responsibilities & deliverables
Drive the implementation and manage progress via for instance:
Develop a project plan outlining the key activities, milestones, and deliverables of the ERP implementation project.
Define project objectives, scope, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
Create a detailed project schedule and monitor progress against the timeline to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Facilitate communication and coordination between the functional business side, implementation team, and technical team.
Conduct regular project meetings to provide updates, address issues, and gather feedback from team members and stakeholders.
Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of the new ERP system by users.
Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop contingency plans as needed.
Monitor project budget and expenses, ensuring that costs are controlled within approved limits.
Coordinate testing activities, including system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and performance testing.
Oversee data migration activities, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and integrity during the transition to the new ERP system.
Provide training and support to end-users to maximize their understanding and utilization of the ERP system.
Prepare regular status reports and presentations for project stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
