Strategy lead and expert on climate

The team

The Global Sustainability Function is a part of our clients management team and is responsible for everything from strategy and operational guidance to impact assessments and reporting relating to sustainability. It consists of strategy leads (on climate, circularity, chemicals, transparency and inclusion), the program sustainability team (incl LCA), as well as the compliance and reporting responsible.
Develop and continuously improve our clients climate roadmap and targets

Secure that targets, requirements and guidance on climate is implemented throughout our clients operations and programs
Oversee their strategic initiatives on climate, and secure that accountable departments have ongoing activities and resources in line with climate roadmap and report into the governing.
Support or lead projects related to climate
Develop their position paper on climate
Report on climate KPIs internally and externally
Oversee implementation of internal cost on carbon
Provide briefs and guidance on climate communication
Develop our clients advocacy work on climate
Collaborate with counterparts at VCC and Geely connected to climate
Develop and conduct internal trainings on climate
Engage with external partners and uphold our strategic partnerships
Follow trends and developments on climate, e.g. research, regulation and policy

Continuous activities to execute and develop the climate work, based on the above stated scope for the role

Competence requirements
Communication and collaboration skills
Project and strategy management
Science, policy and trends on climate
In depth knowledge about climate calculation and climate solutions such as renewable energy, biofuels, low carbon/net-zero materials, carbon removal etc.

Other requirements
Experience from leading strategic work on climate within a company is a must
