We are seeking individuals to strengthen our client’s SW Release team within the Connectivity Platform, taking on the role of a SW Release and Configuration Engineer. As a key contributor to the team, you will drive SW release and configuration processes to support SW deliveries from the Connectivity Platform.

Within the Connectivity Platform in R&D, their teams build products that enhance the car ownership experience. Our client develop connectivity products and services for their vehicles, ensuring they are seamlessly connected anywhere and anytime.

 

As a SW Release and Configuration Engineer, your responsibilities include:

Aligning with the Release Manager and attending Delivery status meetings to confirm SW/HW deliveries for each milestone from the Connectivity Platform.
Uploading SW to different tools when there is a release candidate and delivering it to milestone releases.
Connecting release documents to SW uploaded in ConfigHub.
Uploading documents to Teamcenter for every SW milestone release.
Ensuring SW Structure and Part Numbers are aligned for every milestone release.
Ensuring Carcom and SDB diagnostic signal databases are aligned for every milestone release.
Performing SW signing for production intent SW (Bootloader, Supplier Factory SW, CIntegrated SW).
Ensuring Bootloader information is aligned between the Supplier and our client.
Performing SW Joint Reviews and supporting Design review input to Department HW & Mechatronics.
Supporting sourcing processes and documentation for new projects.
Supporting QOP (Quote One Pager), financial forecast, and approval.
Generating SWRS (Software Requirement Specification) from different tools.
Supporting the factory through deviations.
Handling aftermarket topics.

Do You Fit The Profile?

We are looking for candidates with at least a BSc degree in Software Engineering or a similar field. Key qualifications include:

Strong passion and competence in SW release and configuration management in the automotive industry.
Solid experience in SW development, SW test and verification, SW branching, CI (Continuous Integration) robot test, SW configuration for different variants, and SW release documentation.
You should possess a strong technical background and communication skills, enabling collaboration with a diverse set of stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include defining the SW release and configuration management scope, process, and WoW (Way of Working), along with continuous improvement on process and quality.
