The client is looking for 1-2 consultants to help advise our client on how to build out a PLC integration and offering. Potentially to continue actually building after designing the system.

The client are exploring PLC to integrate into energy resources (e.g. over modbus)

The why:

– They want to control energy resources in real-time

– They want to collect real-time telemetry

– They want to be able to deploy logic that runs locally on the PLC

What they need guidance with:

– What PLC spec should we look for

– What are the do’s and don’ts when building against PLC infra

– Best ways to deploy code to PLCs
