Our Agile Release Train (ART) Remote Functions mission within the Department Car Cloud Platform and Remote Functions is to enable remote functions globally to contribute to the overall connected experience.
We build, provide, and operate a highly secure run-time ecosystem for functions and applications serving our connected cars, and their users. We aim to optimize functional and organic growth by using cutting edge standards from Car Connectivity Consortium® together with cloud services, the latest technology from phone OEMs and connectivity. This new way of using your phone as the key for your car will opens up for a new connected experience. The journey into the future starts here.

What you will do
In the new domain of digital key and approach the phone will become the primary key for your car. This will of course in turn make it crucial that quality and stability is top notch.
Are you a tech savvy tester in the automation domain with a long background in writing tests and planning test activities, is a person who can see the big picture and dig into end-to-end testcases and really enjoys adding quality on a solution level then read further and see the fantastic possibilities in this role. When we say testing, we mean automation in rig in this case.

As an Automation tester you will work close with our development teams including our current team of manual testers.
You will be implementing and running tests of our embedded software with included in our CI. Our system is built on embedded software, hardware and wireless connecting to our cloud. And yes we will test on real mobile devices and cars as well. The test scenarios are… well you tell us if you are up for it. We have not even talked about the approach scenarios which will be our next fun part in development. This role is a core competence in our future team build and you can expect a lot of fun in our journey towards the connected experience.
The role might include travelling so this should be expected.

You and your background
We see that you have some background as automation tester both on hardware as well as software since this will be part of the tasks. Experience as developer and/or manual tester is preferred.
We see that you have relevant education in test or development and at the same time really think that exploratory testing is an important way forward. Our field of development is very tech heavy but the test cases also need to be based in user experience.
