Backend Developer

Role Overview

In this role, you will be working in a team of backend engineers designing and implementing API-based services for different functional domains, supporting patients and healthcare professionals in clinical trials. The ideal candidate should be a versatile professional with a strong background in backend development, particularly in the realm of cloud-native applications. The work includes contributing to both the design and implementation of microservices that are performant, resilient, compliant, and secure.

You will be part of a digital product development and engineering organization that consists of many cross-functional and self-organized teams equipped with the people, skills, and resources to deliver their part of the product. They work closely with health professionals and patients throughout the company, filling many different roles. Tasks:

• Develop new backend functionality in Spring Boot applications.
• Elaborate features with BA, PO, and stakeholders.
• Participate in scrum activities and PI planning.
• Run and troubleshoot pipelines.

Required Qualifications

• Java, Spring Boot
• MongoDB
• Docker
• More than 5 years of software development experience
• Fluent English; Swedish is a plus
