Job Description

Are you a skilled Scrum Master passionate about driving agile practices and supporting high-performing teams? We’re seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our Finance Product Team, where you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the team’s success and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Organization: Ensure the Product Team is well-organized, and all key Scrum events occur efficiently.
Facilitate Scrum Events: Lead and participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring active engagement from all team members.
Progress Visualization: Keep the team and stakeholders informed by visualizing progress and tracking data from previous sprints to enhance future performance.
Velocity Management: Monitor and manage team velocity, ensuring that sprint goals are met while removing any blockers to progress.
Agile Advocacy: Champion agile processes within the team and across the broader organization, helping to build agile capabilities and awareness.
Wellbeing Support: Actively support the emotional and physical wellbeing of team members, ensuring a healthy and productive work environment.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and help the team implement changes to enhance productivity and quality.


Skills & Qualifications:

Agile Expertise: Extensive experience with agile development practices, Scrum events, and artifacts.
Technical Knowledge: Intermediate understanding of software development.
Leadership & Influence: Ability to lead, motivate, and influence team members without direct authority.
Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and navigate past roadblocks and obstacles.
Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the organization.
Business Acumen: Understand the complexities of the IKEA business and technology landscape. Finance knowledge is seen as a big plus.


Additional Responsibilities:

Scrum Coaching: Help the Scrum Team by coaching members in self-management and cross-functionality, focusing on delivering high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done.
Product Owner Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Owner to refine Product Objectives, manage the Product Backlog, and facilitate stakeholder collaboration.
Organization Support: Lead, train, and coach the broader organization in Scrum adoption, helping them embrace an empirical approach for complex work.
