Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled UX Designer to join our client’s Production Tools department, where internal editorial tools are developed for innovative workflows. The assignment will focus on two cross-functional teams: one exploring AI integration into editorial workflows and user-facing applications, and another developing archiving and research tools for investigative journalism.

As a UX designer, you will own the end-to-end design process, from user research and concept development to delivering designs and components for the design system. You will operate in rapid iterations, using agile methods and keeping simplicity and accessibility at the core of your designs.

The role requires deep expertise in UX methodologies, research techniques, and service design to facilitate workshops, interpret data, and translate insights into actionable designs. Experience with AI-driven projects, managing multi-platform environments, and working in larger organisations is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research, testing, and analysis to inform design decisions.
  • Develop sketches, prototypes, and final designs for complex internal tools.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring user needs align with business goals.
  • Facilitate workshops to gather insights and drive collaborative solutions.
  • Work with design systems in Figma, contributing to and maintaining components.

Key Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in UX design.
  • At least 2 years of experience in service design.
  • Proven ability to design complex internal tools (minimum 4 years).
  • Proficiency in Figma and experience with design systems (minimum 2 years).
  • Strong collaboration skills in agile, cross-functional teams (minimum 3 years).
  • Fluency in Swedish and ability to work onsite in Stockholm 3 days a week.

  • Demonstrated ability to use diverse UX methodologies effectively.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in media or content production is a plus.
