The iCAR group is responsible for Developing, designing and maintaining test objects that are used by all teams in Connected experience for software testing and development. Mainly subsystem rigs, automatic HIL rigs and cars.
You will be in the iCAR Support team, this team focuses on supporting software developing teams with their test objects. iCAR support team is an operational team handling incoming support request from the organization. This position is to work in Torslanda
In your role we are looking for a software developer who likes to work hands on with hardware such as HILs, Cars and bench rigs.
Key Responsibilities
Integrate hardware components, sensors, and actuators into HIL test benches.
Collaborate with software and hardware teams to define test requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with relevant teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
Continuously improve HIL testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
Maintain and update HIL systems to align with evolving project needs.
Generate and maintain detailed documentation for HIL systems
Provide technical support to other teams for HIL-related activities and initiatives.
Top Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in HIL system design, development, and testing.
Strong knowledge of control systems, embedded systems
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience with CAN, LIN, FlexRay, or other communication protocols is a plus.
Valid European driver’s license B
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
