Lead and grow a team of committed engineers through hiring, mentoring, inspiring, and feedback.
Ensure through streamlined execution and experimentation that our solutions meet the needs of our customers quickly and accurately.
Be the voice of engineering in the Product team through friendly and effective collaboration with the product and UX counterparts.
Advocate and advance modern, agile software development and foster good engineering practices.
Help ensure the solutions are scalable, sustainable, architecturally sound, and that technical debt is incurred consciously and repaid in a reasonable time.
Be an active member of the Cluster engineering leadership team and collaborate with other leaders across the cluster.
Top Skills
We are looking for someone with a solid background in Typescript, JavaScript, Node etc. and a genuine interest in people, who loves to lead, develop, inspire, and grow an engineering team. You should feel comfortable leading through ambiguity and empowering your team to act and learn in uncertain and complex environments.
You should ensure the mission, strategy, and goals are clear and delegate authority and responsibility to your team members, giving them the autonomy and flexibility to make decisions and take actions. Moreover, you should have experience in building diverse and motivated teams.
This role is for you with several years of experience in the software engineering field as an individual contributor who would like to continue your career within technical leadership. No previous Engineering Management or management experience is required, but it is considered a bonus.
