Senior Agile Coach
Job Description
As part of a group of senior agile coaches connected to our LACE you will join us in facilitating and enabling the Agile journey.
The agile teams/teams of teams/ARTs have different purposes, flow of work and needs and we support/guide them based on principles from Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE).
You will be allocated (full or part time) to organisations inside, who are on a journey to become more value-driven and agile. Work can be both traditional agile coaching and targeted training and facilitation. Duration can vary from one-off short-term assignment to longer time coaching assignments.
You will potentially also be included in our work in the LACE facilitating the overall transition. We do this in a “hub & spoke” set up driving the change through Communities of Practise, local LACEs, and line of businesses in global.
Some areas of the organization are already doing agile, some areas are novice to the agile way of working. The flow of work in the teams can include iterative development, kanban and phase driven approaches. It is key for success in this position that you can manoeuvre in your coaching in respect of the leader ship and teams characteristics – guided by lean agile (SAFe) principles and your common sense. You coach and faciltate to bring leaders and the organisation to their next level and not nessesarily to have perfectness from day 1.
Top Skills
+3 years experience in advanced coaching on leadership and ART level and coaching in complex organisations/ structures
Certified Agile trainer to deliver introductory to advanced courses (SAFe SPC)
Experience (Advanced) knowledge on Agile principles, methodology and events
Strong and proven facilitation skills combined with knowledge on team dynamic
Experience from coaching and mentoring all organisational levels including business owners and top executives
Experience in driving the continuous improvement and scaling of the agile methods, tools and processes based on learnings captured throughout the organisation • Experience in applying organisational agility
Capable of handling distributed teams spread geographically
Merital skills
Hands on experience and capable of training others in Azure DevOps is an advantage
