What you will do

Volvo Cars  is responsible for making life less complicated for their consumers when they need support, maintenance, or repair of their car. You will belong to the team which has responsibility for the Attribute area Serviceability as well as customer insights and needs.

An electrified car park and the digitalization creates new challenges and opportunities, and it is mainly within this area you will contribute. As an Attribute leader you gather insights, defining needs, establish requirements, communicate, and follow them up. Volvo Cars support the development teams with insights, frequent analysis, validation, and feedback and contribute in balancing of the product with stakeholders. You are acting in all phases from early studies to Industrialization and beyond.

The target for this assignment is to secure requirements and needs for new digital services & functions as well as battery serviceability. A prerequisite for this is a close collaboration with colleagues within the unit, R&D engineering teams and project management.

 

What you will bring

Minimum BSc degree or higher in Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience together with experience and knowledge in product development, especially within car electronics and/or battery technology. Preferable you also have knowledge within car diagnostics and fault tracing.

Good communication skill is of high importance.
You are result driven and structured in your approach with good cross-functional working-skills.
You are proactive, and customer focused with the ability to see the holistic view and have a conceptual thinking.
Volvo Cars is on a change journey within the area, therefor change management and interest of being an active part of establishment of new way of working is of high importance.
Since Volvo Cars is working agile it is beneficial if you have experience from this.
You are fluent in English (verbal and written).
B-driving license.
