Job Description

As a Project Manager you will be responsible of the industrialization of product projects in our Cab and Vehicle assembly plants globally. You will lead the teams through the complete project lifetime. You will be highly involved in defining our targets/requirements, time plans and preparing the complete industrial system for the product changes, and then commit to deliver on time. You will work close to and collaborate with the different plants, technical preparation, logistics, quality etc.
The scope for the role is our brand for common parts, location is Gothenburg, Lundby.

Main activities and responsibilities:
• Be responsible of the project teams (including representatives from technical preparation engineering, Logistic engineering, plants etc.)
• Communicate with and motivate the teams to enable engaged teamwork.
• Represent Manufacturing in investigations, pre-studies and projects (from initiation to End gate)
• Drive Manufacturing requirements and strategies in product projects
• Ensure that manufacturing quality, delivery and cost targets are defined, taken into account and met.
• Drive the project time plans covering all activities needed to ensure that all impacted plants are ready for production start.
• Ensure quality assured project documentation (e.g. project pre-requisites, project description, risk analysis)
• Manage project costs (R&D and Investments)
• Proactively challenge all line organizations to meet agreed milestones.
• Secure information and recommendation for decisions within Operations and cross functional decision meetings.

Experience and Competence
• Experience in project management with proven leadership skills
• Courage and good communication skills
• Ability to lead and create engaged teams and work through others.
• Ability to understand manufacturing processes.
• University degree / MSc or equivalent work experience
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• It is a bonus to have software and / or electrical architecture competence.
