Senior Battery System Engineer

A Senior Battery System Engineer is needed during a parental leave. Our team works with both battery system architecture, concept development and system engineering. This position will focus on battery system engineering and will follow up on our attributes, balance if needed, work with requirements, SFMEA and coordinating different tasks related to above.

Typical tasks include:
– Participate in/lead architecture work for new battery products on developed base platforms (scalability, voltage windows, cell chemistry choice, cell size, high voltage architecture etc.)
– Work closely with propulsion architects, software department and battery cell engineers to coordinate activities
– Support designing teams to optimize their design for best attribute balance on complete battery
– Analysis of CAE & Test results and root cause analysis of failed tests etc.
– S-FMEA analysis
– Support in development of test specifications to verify our attributes (Mainly energy, performance, fast charging, sustainability, safety, thermal properties)

Required:
– At least 7 years’ experience from automotive or similar product development
– From which at least 5 years are experience from battery design, preferably system engineering or architecture.
– Experience in above mentioned tasks.
– Fluent in English.
