Android Developer

Android Developer for an assignment in Stockholm.

You will be a part of the client’s friendly cross-functional product teams in the Car Sharing cluster. The cluster consists of five teams that develop our client’s car sharing service, giving customers flexible access to cars through their app.

As an Android Developer, you will work in a cross-functional agile product team creating and delivering the best possible solutions for people and cities, to help more people to move *freely*, *meaningfully,* and *sustainably*. You’ll work with passionate people to come up with what’s next for the client’s product and you’ll have space to influence not only what they build, but also how they work. You’ll work with the latest tools and languages to build the client’s service and deliver a great experience to their users. Above all, you’ll help create space for a more sustainable future through car sharing.

This position is based in Stockholm and you are expected to work from the office at least 3 days per week.

Skills:

You will be part of designing, developing, testing and maintaining the client’s On Demand Android app. You will ensure the performance, quality and responsiveness of the client’s app by developing clean, maintainable and efficient code. They are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and likes to be part of the whole product development cycle from ideation to code in production.

• 3 years of experience as Android developer in and agile and fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of Android framework
• RxJava, Dagger and Kotlin
• MVVM application design and architecture
• Jetpack Compose
• Android testing

Merit:

• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices as well as an eye for design
• Experience with backend or iOS development
