The team is located in Lundby Gothenburg, Sweden.

The delivery
We are one of four product teams developing and maintaining the core application within the product development at Volvo (KOLA) – the heart of Volvo product documentation.
We are bit by bit transforming our monolith solution to a modern cloud native microservice architecture. It’s a big advantage if you have experience from both Java fullstack development as well as Mainframe, Cobol and DB2, so you can contribute both to the existing solution and in the modernization work.
We apply SAFe framework, with 2-week sprints.

Your assignment
You will, together with your team, develop or enhance functionality as well as maintain the existing solution. If you are skilled in Cobol as well as Java, there is a golden opportunity to work on both backend and frontend development.

You are a customer focused team player with experience of working as Cobol/MF Software Engineer in an agile team. You have a passion for coding, always eager to develop your skills and contribute to the team development. As the team is cross functional it’s essential that you are willing to stretch yourself outside of your main skill at times to contribute to the team delivery.

And that you are fluent in English (both speaking and writing), and preferably Swedish as well.
