Job Description
We are leading the development of a modern data platform for the Global Trade Management & Compliance (GTMC) department at Volvo Cars. This initiative involves migrating legacy reporting systems to Snowflake, streamlining data flow through Azure Data Factory pipelines, and implementing a data lake within data mesh architecture.

The new platform enhances data visibility, reporting, and predictive capabilities, driving operational efficiency, uncovering valuable insights, and generating significant cost savings. This transformation will positively impact global teams, vendors, and digital stakeholders by reducing manual processes and improving data accuracy.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize key metrics and support decision-making processes
  • Collaborate with global teams, vendors, and digital stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver analytics products
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy by analyzing data lineage and flow, identifying inconsistencies, and implementing corrective measures
  • Design and implement robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and delivery

Required Skills
