Job Description

As a GTO Project Manager within Global Truck Operations, you will oversee the industrialization of product projects across GTO Cab and Vehicle assembly plants globally. This role involves leading project teams through the entire project lifecycle, setting and achieving GTO targets, and ensuring the readiness of the industrial system for product changes. Your responsibilities will encompass coordination with various departments like logistics, quality, and technical preparation, with a focus on Volvo and Renault brands for common parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage project teams, including technical and logistics engineering.
  • Motivate teams for effective collaboration.
  • Represent Manufacturing in various stages of projects, from initiation to completion.
  • Drive manufacturing requirements and strategies in product projects.
  • Ensure the achievement of manufacturing quality, delivery, and cost targets.
  • Develop detailed project timelines to prepare plants for production.
  • Maintain quality-assured project documentation.
  • Oversee project budgets, including R&D and investments.
  • Challenge organizational milestones and secure decision-making information.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management with strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Team leadership and engagement skills.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • University degree (MSc) or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Software/electrical architecture knowledge is a plus.
  • Prior experience in Volvo Project Management is beneficial.
