Health & Safety Consultant
Job Description
Telenor Group has formalized a health and safety advancement plan, and in that context, there are a lot of activities to be carried out. We therefore request to hire a consultant to help us carry out some of the tasks identified. In addition we need to carry out a internal assessment which is best carried out by an external party to Telenor.
Assignment description and activities to be performed
1. Execution of two elements of the Health & Safety Advancement Plan: Possible tasks may include;
– Health & Safety Performance Indicators:
- Support the review of current health and safety performance indicators, including alignment on definitions and calculation methodologies. Relevant metrics, include but are not limited to: SICOR, serious incidents, calculation of worked hours, target for LTIF.
- Identify and propose new metrics to ensure compliance with the EU CSRD requirements
– Reporting: Assist in the development of reporting templates to ensure accurate and efficient tracking of health and safety performance and provide ongoing support to enhance the effectiveness of reporting and follow-up processes.
2. Perform an internal assessment/audit of Telenor’s Health & Safety Management Systems:
- Conduct a reasonable audit of our current management systems, focusing on compliance with ISO standards and internal policies.
- Assess how the practices of non-core Telenor companies align with Telenor’s Health & Safety Policy and other relevant regulations.
- Analyse existing processes and the overall risk picture to identify areas for improvement and enhance efficiency.
- Present the assessments in a detailed report, offering practical and actionable recommendations to improve health and safety within the organization.
Competence requirements
- At least 5 years of Nordic and preferably International experience in H&S governance , audits, assessments for complex organizations
- H&S certified qualification including ISO45001 / 14001 principles. This can be replaced with relevant years of experience
- Experience with H&S reporting systems such as SynergiLife
- Great communication, presentation and analytical skills.
- Strong English language skills including excellent written and spoken English.
