Kubernetes and Linux Expert – Infrastructure Migration

This is a hands-on position requiring strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills in Kubernetes, Linux server management, and network configurations. The assignment focuses on migrating our core software from virtual machines (VMs) to a bare-metal and Kubernetes-based infrastructure, implementing PTP synchronization for video streaming, and improving our upgrade engine. Additionally, the role includes configuring network switching directly on servers rather than relying on external switches.

Key Responsibilities:

Migrate core software from VMs to bare metal and Kubernetes infrastructure.
Configure network switching directly on Linux servers.
Implement and configure PTP synchronization for precise video stream handling.
Further develop and improve the upgrade engine for seamless updates.

Key Qualifications:

Extensive experience with Kubernetes administration, implementation, and monitoring.
Proven expertise in Linux server management (Ubuntu/Debian).
Solid knowledge of network switching in Linux environments.
Hands-on experience with PTP synchronization, particularly for video streams.
Proficient in Python development, including backend and APIs.
Ability to work independently and deliver results in an agile environment.
