Job Description

At engineering & Operations (E&O) team, you will be a key contributor to the next generation of outstanding luxury BEV vehicles. Together with other engineers around the world, you and your team will create innovative human-centric car technology that makes life less complicated and more enjoyable for people. Their group 97380, ACDC & DCDC HW, consists of 2 teams and about 15 engineers. Their vision is “Leading in electrification” by contributing to world class efficiency in future products.

What you will do

As a Design Engineer you will work with Requirements Engineering to deliver Design Prerequisites, Technical Regulations, Contractual Elements, and Compliance Agreements with suppliers in terms of ACDC & DCDC Converters. You will take the lead and drive Tier1 suppliers, which includes leading technical design reviews, internal and supplier joint reviews, and follow up on verification activities.  Your tasks will also include Cost engineering, benchmarking, and reporting status/progress, together with Quality Assurance disciplines such as FMEAs. Close cooperation within the team and across Propulsion & Energy is crucial to enable the future implementation of the most desirable solutions.

You and your skills:

You have a university degree in Electrical Engineering/Power Electronics or similar.
You have over 3 years of experience in product development and a good understanding of the product development lifecycle from initial concept to final delivery.
You have previous experience with the development of ACDC & DCDC converters.
You are very comfortable cooperating and communicating with people, both within the organization and with engineering partners/suppliers.
You are business-oriented, flexible, and performance-driven with the courage to make decisions and be accountable.
You are a team player who likes to collaborate with your colleagues and contribute to good team spirit and team competence building.
