NVH Simulation and Aero-Acoustic expert

The consultant will support aero-acoustic simulations, noise regulation discussions, and project management to ensure the successful execution of vehicle noise and vibration analysis tasks.

Responsibilities

• Participate in aero-acoustic wind tunnel tests and collaborate with the Complete Vehicle team.
• Perform aero-acoustic simulations to validate wind tunnel test data, focusing on side mirror benchmarks and various cab models.
• Provide simulation support to correct test data, addressing wind tunnel background noise and vibration.
• Develop methods for three-dimensional interior noise simulations, modeling in-cab acoustic environments.
• Prepare materials and analyze texts for noise regulation discussion meetings.
• Assist specialists in discussions regarding noise regulations.
• Report project progress, plan upcoming projects, manage expenses, and oversee project execution. – Participate in relevant sub-committee and committee meetings related to noise simulation.

Qualifications:
MSc/PhD in Acoustic Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, or related field.

• Expertise in aero-acoustic simulations and noise analysis.
• Experience with testing & automotive NVH field.
• Proficiency in software including StarCCM+, Actran, and Ansa.
• Ability to develop advanced simulation methods for complex noise environments.
• Familiarity with noise regulation standards.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
