Job Description

The purpose for a Project Manager SMT (Service Market Technology) is to secure the SMT business and deliveries in product projects and MAC projects based on targets and requirements set and deliveries defined

Responsibilities

  • Lead the SMT project team from PCI to EG to secure assigned gate targets and deliverables.
  • Drive, own and follow up the SMT budget in projects
  • With the team, develop and monitor SMT time plans and give input to the main time plane
  • Define and drive that SMT deliveries and needs are integrated in all plans, e.g. V&V, etc.
  • Define and drive deliveries from SMT agreed in Project Description.
  • Understand the needs from main stakeholders

Authorities
The PM Aftermarket has the following authorities:

  • Represent the SMT project team in the project management team
  • Manage the SMT project team
  • Consolidate the SMT status for defined deliverables on behalf of CPM with support from PMT (Project Management Team) members and assigned SMT project team
  • Within the SMT project team, the PM Aftermarket is the decision maker on issues where consensus cannot be reached.
  • Make all decisions needed, within delegated QDCF frames established in cooperation with the SMT Reference Group, to reach the project goals. Propose gate recommendations in SMT Reference group

Product Development Project Management focuses on designing, communicating, and implementing an operational plan for completing an engineering-based project including: Preparing designs, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing and/or commissioning of new infrastructure, facilities, equipment, etc. Monitoring progress and performance against the project plan; taking action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays ; Identifying, developing, and gathering the resources necessary to complete the project ;May include preparing engineering standards, designs and work specifications; developing project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors.Product Development Project manager on Professional level applies practical knowledge typically obtained through education and work experience. Manage smaller projects with low complexity or a part of a bigger project, with support from a senior project manager. May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.

Experience from leading waterfall projects is beneficial along with agile approach.
Experience from aftermarket and electromobility project is highly appreciated.
Fluent in Swedish and English.

Professional: position typically requires 2 to 5 years relevant experience
