Senior Data-Oriented Simulation Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Data-Oriented Simulation Engineer on behalf of our client in Gothenburg, you will focus on re-simulating large datasets within a High-Performance Computing (HPC) cluster and evaluating performance metrics. From Python programming to creating frameworks for test automation, your contributions will advance our simulation capabilities.
Collaboration is central to our success. You will work alongside your team of four and other development teams to innovate and enhance our tools.
Daily Responsibilities
Create dashboards to visualize data and insights.
Collaborate on Python scripts for the toolchain, often through pair programming.
Share your expertise and support teammates with challenging tasks.
Engage with users to optimize tool utilization and address concerns.
Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies to ensure alignment and progress.
Explore new ways to enhance our simulation toolchain through innovation.

Qualifications & experience
A degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Engineering Physics, Robotics, or related fields (Ph.D., M.Sc., B.Sc., or equivalent experience).
3–5 years of professional experience in software engineering.
Proficiency in Python.
Experience with server-based distributed Linux systems.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Experience
Background in the automotive industry.
