Senior Embedded Software Application Engineer

We are looking for an engaged application developer with a mindset towards functionality delivered to the end customer. You want to take development from start, understanding user needs, make the implementation and quality assure the solution, in an agile team setup. Pro-active driving of an end-user function roadmap in end-to-end synchronization with other Agile release train and teams is part of the role.

Competence focus for this role is embedded C, Autosar, and experience defining and implementing ISO26262 requirements. Truck knowledge is a great qualifier but not a necessity.

Within Driver Interaction we work with defining and realizing the interaction with the driver through displays, stalks and switches. We work in embedded C for core logics and C++/Qt for HMI visualization.
A main part of the developed code ends up in the instrument cluster (Driver Information Module).

The current HW is a 2 processor solution that is running Autosar towards the vehicle and Linux/Yocto towards the graphical engine Qt. We connect with CAN, LIN and ethernet. Ethernet communication utilize SOME-IP, stomp and display sharing.

The work is done in a scrum team of about 5 people including dedicated PO. We believe in continuous integration and automatic regression testing where each team is responsible for its product over time.
