Senior Software Engineer

At department Climate we are responsible of making a comfortable climate and secure good air quality for the car occupants. Our systems also support other components with cooling and heating to create optimal conditions for increased efficiency. We design the complete climate system as well as develops the software for controlling all parts.

The Climate integration team objectives are to maintain and improve the tools for developing software for the climate system. Currently the developers are using TargetLink and the development framework consist of python scripts that are executed via Zuul that generates and adapt TargetLink code to match with target hardware. Some modules used for interacting with parts outside the Climate System are also developed by the integration team but those are developed using C++.

We are looking for a senior software developer that can improve the current toolchain used by our Climate Software Developers. Included in the assignment is also to support the integration team, when needed, with development of the cs-modules that work as an interface for our Climate application. You should have good knowledge working with Python, Zuul and C++. As a person you need to be service minded and being able to see from other persons point of view to prevent making solution not suitable for the intended target.

Required Qualifications:
Experience in Matlab Simulink
Experience in TargetLink
Experience in C++
Experience in Python
Experience in Zuul
Experience working with Git
Fluent in English
Technical education at university level or equivalent experience

Meritorious:
Experience in Ansible
Experience in Thermal/Climate systems for automative
Driving license
