Test Engineer – Suspension and Body Durability Analysis Engineer

Carries out, directs and is responsible for specialized work and assignments of a moderate to large commercial and/or technically complex nature – with impact on a team or department.Requires the theoretical understanding of concepts underlying a professional discipline as well as solid professional experience within own domain.

Main responsibilities
You will be a part of the Body and Suspension Analysis Team at Durability. You will plan and execute physical strength and durability tests.
• Actively work to establish test plans and material need for testing in line with our program deliveries.
• In close collaboration with test lab technicians define and plan the adequate test set up to facilitate strength and endurance analysis.
• Support CAE and design engineers in early development phases based on knowledge gained from testing previous car programs.
• Report test results and lesson-learned to summarize gained experience to be carried back to concept work in future car programs.
• Help develop requirements and methods for efficient product development

Required qualifications
 BSc/MSc in engineering, mechanics, strength, fatigue, dynamics, or similar
 Experience in mechanical strength and durability testing where you have performed analysis tasks independently.
 Skilled in MTS, Instron, Dewesoft, Teamcenter Engineering (TCe) or similar
 Fluent in English (written and spoken).
 Meritorious if skilled in CAE analysis, strength and endurance
